I'm not having good luck with computers right now. Not only am I still having issues with Slate, Google got into the act for a while there. I couldn't post to any of my blogs there for over a week. I got the main Google problem fixed, but the new one has to be seen to be believed. You guys might want to take a quick look at your profiles.
Here's the story. A guy I know found out that his birthday in WikiPedia is entered incorrectly. Much joking around about fishing for extra birthday presents has ensued. However, seeing that made me wonder. So I started looking around at my own set of different spots where nefarious information like that might lurk.
I checked my new Blogger profile, and behold! It said I was 225 years old. One of the kids heard my inarticulate expression of dismay, and came and looked. I think you all probably heard him laughing. It's going to take a bit for me to live that down. It'll be right up there with the usual jokes about how Fred Flintstone was in my graduating class and what have you.
Needless to say, I contacted Google for some advice. I got an email back from them saying they'd fixed it so I went and checked.
It now says I'm 250 years old.
I think someone's a little sick of beta bugs. Or needs a nap.

250? Wow, you're remarkably well-preserved.
K (or your fingers are remarkably dextrous anyway)
I don't think it's you. IE just hangs on Slate for me, and Firefox gives me a redirect failure. Just back out and retry. The login takes, you just aren't being redirected back to your post page.
oh, well...i generally lie in my profiles anyway.
