Studio 60, Josh Hancock, and the harrowing bus plunge...
- Now that sweeps are over, NBC is playing out the string on Studio 60. Last night's effort featured no screen time for Bradley Whitford, Amanda Peet, or Matthew Perry, a renewal of flirtatious banter between Allison Janney and Timothy Busfield, the startlingly original subplot of a black superstar's womanizing coming back to haunt him when he meets a woman he loves, and the cast expressing fatigue with the Matt-Harriett romance, which they've been building the show around. Can see why it's cancelled.
- Well, any good will there was remaining for Josh Hancock's memory just went down the toilet. They won't win, but we shouldn't even waste resources defending against lawsuits for wrongful death for someone who wrecked one car while drunk, got drunk again, then drove again, and sped while talking on a cell phone. I guess I should shut up before Hancock's family sues me for libel.
