We’ve done a couple of book clubs on wikifray so far, and they’ve been interesting and engaging (for the participants, at least). We’ll need some more people to join in to get another one going.
Links:
- The Echo Maker
- The Mystery Guest (a number of people weren't able to get the book in time to participate, including me)
Here are some I’ve been thinking about:
- The Parable books by Octavia Butler
- Mischa Berlinski's Fieldwork
- Cormac McCarthy's The Road, but everyone seems to have read it already
- Insect Dreams: The Half Life of Gregor Samsa, by Marc Estrin
- Circuit of Heaven, by Dennis Danvers.
Feel free to express interest in taking part, and make suggestions of your own.
Initial book club post.

Have been looking for an excuse to read The Secret Agent by Conrad for a while now. Especially since it's been in the news recently. (Googling that, it looks like that story has been recycled a few times. Probably bullshit.)
Little, Big is a great book.
FYI, you can find a reading guide for Insect Dreams here: http://unbridledbooks.com/insectdreamsrg.html
Happy Reading!

No decisions, no commitments. I'll let the book club go for now.
Karen O tells me she found Under the Volcano rather dreadful.
