Anyone feel like...

...fixing the banner so that it's clickable again? I don't exactly remember how to do it. I could figure it out, but it would take me an hour or so. If someone can find and fix it without wasting much of their time, I'd be most grateful.

Pathetic, I know. Please?

(also, any other improvements or suggestions for same are welcome. I'm thinking it's time for another book club, if y'all are interested.)

Couldn't figure out how to do it -- should be simple, but wasn't working for me.

Thanks for trying, John.

I'd be in for a book club. One I've been wanting to read is "The Invention of Everything Else" -- a novel about the inventor Tessla. But it's not my turn to choose, and I'll read anything.

Who's in charge? I'm in the early phases of starting a blog design business and I could dress up WF if you're interested. Collect some examples of what you'd like it to look like and drop me an email if you're amenable.

Edward > Ender.

august: I haven't even considered titles, but let's take suggestions and gauge interest, and go with one that people agree on.

Ender: Thank you for that kind offer. I do miss the more functional template you had installed before. I'm not really in charge, though, and while there aren't many contributing here lately, I'll give others a day or two to weigh in and express any thoughts they might have, and get back to you.

Some suggestions for the book club:

I've been wanting to read something by Octavia Butler. The Parable books sound interesting.

Mischa Berlinski's Fieldwork looks kind of appealing.

I'm really itching to read Cormac McCarthy's Road.

Anybody else want to submit a title? I'll post some notices, and maybe we can get underway in a few weeks.

Ender: thanks for fixing the header.

Hmm, read The Road already. A rarity that did well borrowing genres.

I read Kindred by Octavia Butler, would consider others, though not enthusiastically. I'd love to read more about Tesla. (The novel, The Prestige by Christopher Priest, was pretty good. Wouldn't mind something closer to the scientist.) Will think about this.
